12 Minute Juicy Perfect Chicken Breast


  • Chicken breast (6-8 oz)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper


  • Oven Safe Skillet
  • Tongs


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Season chicken breast(s) generously with salt and pepper
  3. Set DRY skillet on stove top over medium high heat and allow to heat for at least 1 minute and 30 seconds
  4. Once the skillet is hot, add your oil to coat the bottom of the skillet
  5. Add your chicken breast(s) to the skillet – DO NOT MOVE THEM.  Sear on one side for exactly 2 minutes.  Flip over with your tongs and sear the other side for exactly two minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken once more and pop into the oven for exactly 7 minutes.  If your breasts are larger than 8 oz, add a minute.   If they’re less than 6, subtract a minute.
  7. Remove the breasts from the oven and place on a plate/cutting board to rest for 4 minutes (cover with tinfoil preferably).
  8. Serve and enjoy!  Or refrigerate for up to a week.
