Ingredients
- Chicken breast (6-8 oz)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt and Pepper

- Oven Safe Skillet
- Tongs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Season chicken breast(s) generously with salt and pepper
- Set DRY skillet on stove top over medium high heat and allow to heat for at least 1 minute and 30 seconds
- Once the skillet is hot, add your oil to coat the bottom of the skillet
- Add your chicken breast(s) to the skillet – DO NOT MOVE THEM. Sear on one side for exactly 2 minutes. Flip over with your tongs and sear the other side for exactly two minutes.
- Flip the chicken once more and pop into the oven for exactly 7 minutes. If your breasts are larger than 8 oz, add a minute. If they’re less than 6, subtract a minute.
- Remove the breasts from the oven and place on a plate/cutting board to rest for 4 minutes (cover with tinfoil preferably).
- Serve and enjoy! Or refrigerate for up to a week.
